Transparent Woman (original 60x48)
She is big and beautiful, at 60x48 (5 feet tall by 4 feet wide), on gallery wrapped canvas. She stands proud and tall. She is an original acrylic painting which may have some traces of mixed media buried deep within her. Media would include writings, images, hand made rice paper prints but those previous parts of her may not be visible from her surface anymore, other than through texture. Her evolution did not come easy. She has had many transformations, but haven’t we all? She didn’t know what she wanted to say in the beginning and at first directed me to just let go, to pour and move paint across her canvas. “Play", she said, “Don’t worry about the ending, stop trying to figure everything out before you even begin.” As she started to reveal herself, she shared her journey. She shared her childhood joy, and her childhood pain. She shared her ugly, her beauty, her love, her passion, her truths. She was done holding back. She was done hiding her journey. She was too grateful for where she was and the woman that she had become.
“I am Transparent Woman, I have nothing to hide. I am all my experiences and I have no time for shame. I am a perfect vision of me,” It is however a common journey women have; to know their worth, to be seen, to use their voice, and to find their tribe. We can support each other, when we share our story, when we are transparent about it. We can then become the voice for women who need support.
Shipping will be arranged for outside the U.S. Rates TBD. An invoice will be sent to you and is required to be paid in full before being shipped. Please be aware that you may be charged separate international fees, depending on your country’s policy.

I use a private driving service that ensures paintings are protected and well cared for in the journey to your home. Shipping times need to be arranged so please be aware that shipping may take a week, up to, but should not be more than, 1 month. I will arrange shipping and communicate every detail with you so you know when to meet her. Depending on where you live, shipping for large paintings may range from $500-$1000.
