8x10 acrylic and ink on 0.25 on canvas. A queen in a bubble next to a burning hill. A tumultuous year of fires, RBG’s death, a reflection on the experience of women in society, Covid and isolation, this painting came about by letting the images find me. It was not until it was completed that I stepped back and saw within this painting, the story of the world around.
